Applications are invited for Junior Research Fellow (2 positions) on a purely contract basis
in the Directorate of Naval Research & Development funded project entitled “Estimation of
suspended sediment concentrations from ocean colour monitor onboard OceanSat and
Algorithm development for settling velocity”.
1. Appointment: Initially for one year and may be extended based on the
performance of the candidate for another two years.
2. Essential Qualifications for JRF
• First Class M. Sc. Marine Geology/Geophysics/Marine Sciences/Atmospheric
Sciences/Oceanography
3. Desirable/additional Qualifications:
Experience/knowledge in Remote Sensing, handling of oceansat and oceanographic
data, computer programming etc.
Fellowship:
JRF
Rs.12,000/- pm
HRA may be provided, if eligible, as per the University rules.
