How to apply?
Candidates applying for M.Tech. can either apply online or through the downloaded application form the
website. Candidates applying for M.Sc., M.S. and Ph.D. can apply through the downloaded application form
only. Application online as well as downloadable forms and information brochure are available at
www.nitt.edu.
The filled up application form should be accompanied by registration fee of Rs.300/- (Rs.100/- for SC/ST/
Persons with Disabilities) by means of Demand Draft drawn not earlier than 6th April, 2009 and in favour of
“DIRECTOR, NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, TIRUCHIRAPPALLI- 620 015”
payable at State Bank of India, NIT Branch, Tiruchirappalli (Code 1617) should reach the Dean
(Academic), National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, 620 015 on or before 11th May, 2009. The
candidates are requested to write their name and GATE registration number on the reverse side of the draft.
